Welcome to the MasterWeb coffee bar. Non-alcoholic beverages and light refreshments are served here ? if you want something stronger though you need to be a registered MasterWeb member to access our Bar area.
The 'Fun Zone' and the bar areas are for non-geek related discussions and threads are wont to go off topic. This is perfectly natural and accepted. Like all areas of MW, this area is moderated, but as long as you stick to the general rules, you'll be just fine.
In order to ensure the smooth running of the establishment, we do have a few little rules specific to the coffee bar. Breaking them will most likely result in you being requested to leave the premises.
Opening times are 12am to 11.45pm daily (we have to close between 11.45pm and 11.57pm to comply with local licensing laws. We use the rest of the time to hose down the floor).
Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the coffee bar ? for anything stronger you'll have to register and visit the 'Behind the Bikesheds' bar ? any alcohol found will be confiscated and drunk by the Mods
Don't steal the little packets of sugar in the bowls on the tables ? the Mods will frisk customers on their way out.
We don't do zillions of poncy types of coffee. We do coffee. We don't do decaf ? real geeks don't drink decaf. If you want to add something to your coffee, you've got milk or sugar. That's it. Same with tea. We do one sort. If you don't like it ? tough!
The throwing of crisps, chips (that's fries to any Americanadian viewers), sweets, or any other foodstuffs around the coffee bar is not allowed. Offenders will be dealt with severely by the squirrels.
That's the rules of the house.
This area is viewable by unregistered guests and search engines, so if you're planning on getting drunk and making a fool of yourself, we suggest you do it in the Bikesheds bar.
